Mar. 30th, 2014 08:36 pm"God, Anna, will you get off my back about fucking prom already?," Abby railed as her sister started lecturing her once again about how important the night was and how essential it was to have a date, a guy date to be more precise.
"I've already told you who knows how many times, I'm going stag along with Kristy and Bea Foster. You know me, I think romance is a fucking pile of bullshit. Not everyone wants to date someone for all of high school, like you and Ross," Abby rambled on, choosing to ignore the hurt look that came over her sister's face at that.
"Yes, I know going with Kristy and Bea will only make people start gossiping again about me being a lesbian," she sighed dramatically. "Unfortunately, people in this town can't seem to wrap their heads around the concept of someone having no desire to be with anyone, guy or girl."
"I wouldn't go to prom at all if Kristy hadn't twisted my arm. Trust me, I'd be much happier spending the night on the couch with a bag of chips and my Community dvd's."
"I am sorry though for that crack I made about you and Ross," Abby told her twin, noticing Anna still seemed a little upset, and crossing the kitchen to wrap her arms around her sister. Abby didn't really care if she hurt other people's feelings or not, but Anna was different in that regard.
"Forgive me?," she asked Anna, letting out a sigh of relief when her sister nodded yes.
"Alright, let's get this motherfucker cleaned up," Abby said, gesturing to the pile of dishes in the sink, turning on some Aretha to make the task go faster.
